We have all heard that the opposite of love is hate.
Some say the opposite is apathy.
Others say it is fear.
What do you say it is?
While not disagreeing with any of these definitions, I would venture to say the opposite of love is laziness, because love requires either work or courage. It usually requires the energy of giving one's attention to something and requires discipline.
As DC Talk says in their song, "Love is a Verb."
